Delivering Durability Across the Rubber Supply Chain was the theme for Endurica’s First Ever Community Conference.  OEMs, rubber part manufacturers and raw materials suppliers engaged at a high level on how durability is evaluated and assured in each domain and across domains.

On April 8, 2024, the United States experienced a Total Solar Eclipse and Endurica’s home city of Findlay, Ohio was very close to the center of the path of totality. Attendees were treated to clear blue skies and the very best viewing location for the eclipse.

A photo gallery will be added shortly!

Who will be joining us?

Endurica’s community from around the globe, including automotive OEM’s, rubber parts manufacturers, tire makers and FEA professionals in aerospace/defense, agriculture, automotive, chemicals, consumer products, education/research, energy, healthcare/medical devices, high tech, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, marine, raw materials suppliers, rail, and more.

MORE than a Users Conference!

Endurica’s Community includes ALL who have an interest in elastomer durability. Join us and check out the best tools and processes in the industry while having a top-notch eclipse experience.

Why Attend?

Technical insight: Dive into the latest in Endurica’s fatigue life simulation system for elastomers with keynotes from industry leaders, workshops, user presentations and more.

Networking: Engage with industry leaders, peers, and Endurica’s expert staff during the Learning Stations and Partner Technology sessions.

Stunning solar eclipse: A total solar eclipse is a rare and spectacular event. On average, one happens somewhere on the Earth only once every 1.5 years. Only 21 total solar eclipses have crossed the lower 48 states in the entire existence of the United States. The last total solar eclipse visible in Ohio was in 1806. The next total solar eclipse in Ohio will be in the year 2099. (source: https://ohiodnr.gov/go-and-do/see-the-sights/solar-eclipse-2024)

Great location: The Hancock Hotel is Findlay’s premier venue, has received AAA Four-Diamond Hotel and is ranked the second-best hotel in all of Ohio.  Located in downtown Findlay on the campus of Marathon Petroleum Corporation, LP, the hotel is uniquely situated near a number of local boutique shops, restaurants, parks and entertainment venues. Located inside the hotel you will find Mancy’s Steakhouse, an Ohio classic that originated in Toledo in 1921.

Important Notice:  Endurica has reserved a block of rooms for Sunday, April 7 and Monday, April 8, at a discounted rate for this event. Upon your completed registration you will receive information on making reservations for your hotel stay. Reservations are first come, first served and must be completed by March 8, 2024 to receive the special rate.

Findlay, Ohio is directly centered between Detroit, Michigan -the auto capital and Akron, Ohio – the rubber capital. If you are considering driving in for the event, note that traffic immediately following the eclipse is likely to be backed up for some time.  To avoid getting stuck in traffic, we recommend that you arrive Monday morning and plan to stay over Monday night.  Traffic conditions will be much improved on Tuesday.

Take your Eclipse Experience to the Next Level with Endurica’s Characterizing Workshop:

A special, in-person training session at Axel Products follows the Eclipse Event to provide a thorough understanding of the science behind Endurica’s solutions. See the materials characterization tests being performed in the lab during this 3-day workshop (Wednesday – Friday, April 10-12, 2024)  Make your travel time pay extra dividends by investing the week with Endurica!

You will learn:

  • The physics and factors that govern the fatigue behavior of rubber
  • How to use accurate models and efficient procedures to characterize fatigue behavior
  • To take advantage of test strategies that minimize risk and maximize productivity
  • How to use crack nucleation and fracture mechanics approaches effectively
  • How materials characterization is the foundation for accurate fatigue calculations
  • To diagnose and solve development issues with materials characterization fundamentals
