SUMMARY:Integrating Simulation and Testing with Coesfeld instruments and Endurica simulation software
DESCRIPTION:Rubber compound ranking and selection has long relied on legacy lab tests that too often miss real‑world physics that are key to product performance. The result? Misinformed decisions\, slower development cycles\, increased risk\, and costly redos. \nIn this webinar\, you’ll discover a smarter\, faster path: integrating materials testing with product simulation to measure what truly matters and predict performance with confidence. Learn how Endurica and Coesfeld have teamed up to combine targeted material characterization with realistic\, physics‑based modeling to cut through uncertainty\, accelerate development cycles\, and consistently choose the right compounds the first time. If you’re ready to modernize your materials and product development workflows—and gain a competitive edge—this session is for you.  We will review workflows featuring the following Coesfeld instruments: \n\nISA – Intrinsic Strength Analyser for measuring fatigue threshold and tear strength\nTFA – Tear and Fatigue Analyser for measuring fatigue crack growth rate behavior\nICCA – Instrumented Cut and Chip Analyser for measuring surface damage development\nHBUA – Heat Build Up Analyser for measuring viscoelasticity and self-heating\nLFT – Linear Friction Tester for measuring friction during controlled sliding\n\nLearn more and register here.

SUMMARY:Tire Model Building Made Easy with Coreform Cubit
DESCRIPTION:Tire modelling: Accurate. Easy. Fast. \nJoin us to see it happen in real time. \nEndurica and Coreform are teaming up to showcase a new\, streamlined workflow for building analysis-ready tire cross section meshes in Coreform Cubit. In this webinar\, we will demonstrate the Coreform Cubit Tire Cross-Section Toolbar\, an open-source plugin that helps you go from 2D line geometry to a clean\, solver-ready\, axi-symmetric mesh with the right groupings\, cut lines\, and element quality controls. \nWatch the tool in the Cubit workspace: \n\nconvert curves into a surface model\nassign element groups (sets) for materials and regions\napply cut-lines that improve mesh structure and element quality\ncreate the mesh (including rebar elements)\nand automatically clean up poorly shaped triangles\n…all before export to Abaqus or other analysis codes.\n\nTire geometry is notoriously complex\, and a real time sink for FEA teams. This tool promises to break the bottleneck. \nLearn more – see the presenters for Tire Model Building Made Easy with Coreform Cubit \nRegister here

SUMMARY:Winning on Durability User Spotlight on Rail: Trelleborg with Dr. Nina Heinrich
DESCRIPTION:Rubber durability isn’t just a detail — it’s the difference between success and failure — especially in the rail industry. That’s why Endurica’s Winning on Durability series dives deep into the game-changing issues\, cutting-edge technologies\, and best practices that drive success in elastomeric materials\, products\, and system development. In this special live episode straight from Trelleborg Antivibration Systems in Switzerland\, we explore rail industry applications\, an emerging sector of importance for Endurica Europe. \nWe are excited to spotlight Trelleborg AVS which leads the way in noise and vibration control with advanced polymer technology and world-class expertise in rubber-to-metal bonding. While their innovations serve industries from machine tools to marine and mass transit\, this episode focuses on Trelleborg’s groundbreaking work in rail applications. \nMore Information\nOur special guest is Nina Heinreich\, Ph.D.\, the global leader of Trelleborg’s simulation-based product development engineers. She ensures common development strategies are employed around the world for the engineering calculation and validation activities throughout Trelleborg’s development processes. Dr. Heinreich has been using Endurica since 2022\, presented her work at our Eclipse with Endurica Community Conference and shared her insights within Trelleborg’s promotions for the rail industry’s largest annual gathering\, the 2024 InnoTrans Conference.   \nJoin us as Dr. Heinreich shares her work predicting a rubber spring’s Wohler line with Endurica in the presence of self-contact. \nThe Abstract: \nFatigue tests with different load amplitudes under fully relaxing conditions were carried out to obtain the Wohler line of a conical rubber-to-metal spring\, which is representative for railway applications. Using Abaqus FEA\, the same load cases were simulated to calculate the strain histories and\, subsequently\, a fatigue life prediction from Endurica. A close agreement between measured and calculated life was found\, in particular for low load amplitude. At high amplitude\, the calculation overestimates the life about a factor of three. For this type of deviation self-contact\, which intensifies with increasing load\, is discussed as a likely reason. Further challenges\, i. e. extrapolation of measured material properties and varying failure criterions\, will be highlighted. \nDon’t miss this exclusive opportunity to gain insights from one of the industry’s top minds. Join us for Winning on Durability—LIVE from Switzerland! \n  \nRegister Now\n  \nCan’t make the presentation on April 23rd? No worries! We take the FOMO out.  Register now and we will send you a recording of the event. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Winning on Durability
DESCRIPTION:Small features on molded rubber parts\, such as small radius fillets\, mold injection ports\, and tire vents\, can significantly affect fatigue performance due to their stress-concentrating effects. However\, these critical details are often overlooked because of the challenges they pose in meshing. \nAccurate fatigue life prediction hinges on precise stress and strain calculations\, which are directly tied to mesh quality. Join us for an in-depth discussion on: \n\nSmall features and mesh quality impact on fatigue life.\nCore principles for effective mesh development.\nTools to simplify and optimize your meshing process.\n\nIn this webinar\, Dr. Will Mars\, founder and President of Endurica\, is joined by Greg Vernon\, Director of Product at Coreform\, and Mark Bauman\, Engineering Analyst at Endurica. The team will demonstrate how Coreform Cubit tackles these challenges within Endurica CL. Using an automotive bushing as an example\, the team will showcase real-world applications in the rubber industry and provide actionable insights for achieving accurate fatigue predictions with minimal effort. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to learn how to master the details that make all the difference in accurate fatigue analysis.
