Dimensions of Durability: Elastomer Characterization, Simulation, Sustainability is the theme of Endurica’s second Community Conference planned for May 5-6, 2026 in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. Durability is not a single metric, it is a system-level challenge that spans the full rubber supply chain. Dimensions of Durability connects OEMs, component manufacturers, and raw material suppliers around the tools, data, and simulation technologies that enable longer life, lower risk, faster to market, and more sustainable products. Attendees are practitioners and decision-makers actively seeking solutions that improve durability outcomes and accelerate innovation

Who is invited to attend?
Endurica’s Community includes technology and industry leaders who need to get durability right for elastomers. Attendees will include raw materials suppliers, tire and part makers, OEMs, and research institutes. Managers and executives as well as product engineers, materials engineers, test and simulation engineers will attend. Attendance is limited to 100 people.

• Recommended: Novotel Luxembourg Centre – Link to hotel site – located in Luxembourg city within walking distance of the central train station. 

• Alternative 1: Residhome Belval – Link to hotel site – located in Belval near the conference venue. Too small to accommodate all attendees. 

• Alternative 2: Threeland Hotel – Link to hotel site – located at the border with France and Belgium, on the other side of Belval from Luxembourg city.  

• Alternative 3: Park Inn by Radisson Luxembourg City – Link to hotel site – good alternative to the Novotel close to the central train station. 
  

Useful information: 

• All public transportation is free in the country of Luxembourg. You do not need a pass or ticket to ride any form of transportation within the country (tram, bus, train etc.) 

• Uber is available but connects to the taxi network. The taxi network is also accessible through a local provider Webtaxi (pricing is similar to Uber). Using a taxi without one of these services can be expensive.   

• For those arriving by plane, we recommend you take the tram from the airport to the city center (~20 minutes). 

• For those staying at hotels in Luxembourg City, we recommend travelling to and from the conference location (Belval, Luxembourg) by train. The name of the station is Belval (Université), Gare. The train is direct and takes ~30 minutes. On May 5 and May 6, someone from the Endurica team will meet any attendees who want to travel together at the “le wagon” café in the station from 7:30 AM. We will leave the café at 7:45 AM to take the train.
