We are excited to announce the launch of Endurica MP, along with major improvements to installation, licensing, documentation, and thermal analysis capabilities. This release unifies and streamlines the Endurica software suite while introducing critical new features and enhancements.
Key Updates
Endurica MP Product Launch
- Endurica MP is now available, incorporating all thermal workflows and features into a unified product.
- Thermal Analysis Enhancements: Implemented thermal runaway and adiabatic time limit features for advanced thermal simulations.
- Installation structure reworked for a single, merged directory, making it easier to find files and manage software.
- Simplified installation and uninstallation: Only one entry appears in the installed programs list, reducing complexity when updating software.
- Unified documentation: CL, DT, and MP documentation and examples are now combined into an HTML-based system for easier access.
License System Rework
- New license structure:
- “endurica_seat” and “endurica_thread” licenses control job startup allowances.
- “cl”, “dt”, and “mp” licenses regulate feature access.
- “eie_beta” renamed to “eie” for clarity.
- Improved license manager stability: If a network license disconnects, the system will attempt to reconnect for 5 minutes before terminating the process.
New Materials
- Added 4 new materials to the database.
General Improvements
- Updated third-party libraries, compilers, and operating system builds to enhance stability and performance.
- Refined build pipelines, including code coverage reporting.
- Updated copyright notices for third-party dependencies.
- Fixed a chart visualization bug in EIE when channels were named with a capital “X.”
- Removed outdated benchmarks directory from CL.
