Advanced Training for Endurica Rubber Fatigue Simulation Software

March 11 @ 9:00 am - March 13 @ 12:00 pm

$1,195.00

Take your durability workflows to the next level with this advanced workshop

If you have already learned the basics of Endurica’s software workflows, this workshop is for you. After taking this workshop you will know all of Endurica’s material modelling options; be able to use incremental, coupled damage-tolerant workflows; and manage large histories/road loads efficiently.

Leverage the full depth and power of Endurica’s software

This advanced workshop assumes a basic understanding of Endurica’s workflows and of commercial finite element analysis (Abaqus, Ansys, Marc). You will learn from our founder, Dr. Will Mars, live online. Join us from the comfort of your home or office. (No travel required!) A trial license of our entire software suite is included for those who need it. A link of the recorded presentation for review is sent after each session. Additionally, Dr. Mars is available every class day for “office hours” to answer your questions.

Workshop meets online from 9:00 a.m. to noon EST (UTC-5) Wednesday, March 11 and Friday, March 13, 2026

Course Objectives

  • Understand advanced principles governing fatigue in elastomers.
  • Select and specify material models that accurately describe elastomer behavior.
  • Apply fatigue analysis workflows for:
    • Incremental, damage tolerant analyses
    • Coupled analyses
    • Multiphysics (ageing, oxidation, thermal effects)
    • Lengthy, multi-channel histories (road loads)
  • Leverage the full power of Endurica Software (CL, DT, MP, and EIE)

Course Outline

  • Day 1 – Material Modeling in the Endurica solvers (Endurica CL, Endurica DT, Endurica MP)
    • Nonlinear elasticity and Mullins effect
    • Fully relaxing fatigue crack growth behavior
    • Strain crystallization and nonrelaxing fatigue crack growth behavior
    • Time dependent crack growth and ozone attack

    • Ageing and oxidation
    • Long term cyclic softening
  • Day 2 – Incremental and coupled workflows with Endurica DT and Endurica MP
    • Incrementally specified loading sequences: steps, blocks and restarts
    • Damage tolerant and residual life simulation
    • Example: load sequence effects
    • Setting up for coupled workflows
    • Python scripting with Endurica solvers
    • Example: cyclic softening of a sway bar link bushing
